The Daisy Travel Pillow is the “Simplest And Most Comfortable Travel Pillow ever designed” according to Daisy. Well, maybe. Maybe not. It’s certainly one of the biggest but does big mean comfortable?

The Daisy Travel Pillow is a good example of “one size fits all” not being entirely true. For those with thick necks and bigger heads, the Daisy Travel Pillow can be constricting and uncomfortable. It’s a shame because if your head is the right size, the Daisy Travel Pillow does an excellent job of supporting your head and chin.
The patent pending design claims to support “chin, neck, face, back of neck and temple”. I found that if your neck and head are small enough, this is true enough. Please note that this is a side sleeper. That means that you are expected to lean to the left or right when upright. Support for your chin is minor and those who have issues with forward head movement may find this a challenge. Again it comes down to head size.
The Daisy Travel Pillow is incredibly soft and the polyester outer is non-irritating and doesn’t get too hot. This is definitely a pillow for those that love a soft, snug sleep.
The design is really interesting and I’m looking forward to seeing more like this. What Daisy have done is make the pillow all one piece. That means the pillow is one bonded pillow rather than 2 stuck together. The intention here is to provide support for the upper head pillow section by creating a strong base in the neck pillow.
Much like the J-Pillow, you choose a side to lean on and the Daisy Travel Pillow will support your head accordingly. This would work great too if the stuffing was firmer. Something like a plastic frame to help support the pillow might be a good idea in future iterations.
The nature of the design makes it great for aisle and middle seats. Truly, if this pillow is a good fit, no side support from a wall or similar is needed.
The Daisy Travel Pillow has a claw like design and is machine washable. The stitching is sound and there are no obvious weak points or manufacturing faults. It’s also small enough to be used for children however, I wouldn’t suggest it for under 8 year olds.
This is an area where the Daisy Travel Pillow could use some help. The pillow is huge coming in at 16 x 14 x 3 inches. This can be excused somewhat for two reasons.
1. If it’s a good fit, the Daisy Travel Pillow is very comfortable.
2. There is a handy clip for attaching to luggage.
With that said, if you’re looking for compact, look elsewhere.
Certainly not cheap, the Daisy Travel Pillow is one of the better pillows I’ve seen in terms of quality. The pillow is really put together well, with good stitching and a 100% moneyback guarantee, no questions asked. Be careful with this though because it isn’t a lifetime guarantee. Use it, if it fits, you’ll love it, if it doesn’t, send it back!
- Very snug and comfortable
- Travel clip for attaching to luggage
- Very good side support
- Bulky and a pain to carry
- For smaller heads and frames only
- A little too soft to be supportive
I said this earlier "Use it, if it fits, you'll love it, if it doesn't, send it back!". There really should be two sizes with this pillow. However, the pillow is so bulky at the moment, I can only imagine a larger size would be too big. Great idea, great concept, could just do with some refinement.
